Location: Nottingham, MD (On-site)
Job Type: Temporary (6-7 Week Assignment)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $22-$25 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Temporary Marketing Coordinator to provide administrative and marketing support to a collaborative marketing team. This role is ideal for a junior-level marketing professional with strong writing skills who enjoys working across a variety of marketing projects, including social media management, content creation, email marketing, reporting, and marketing administration.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Write, edit, and publish blog content and other marketing materials.
  • Develop content to support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Create graphics and visual content using Canva and similar design tools.
  • Compile marketing data and assist with reporting and performance tracking.
  • Support the organization and maintenance of marketing resources and materials.
  • Perform administrative duties related to marketing projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing marketing efforts and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong content creation, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Canva or similar graphic design software.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, or administrative support.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Experience creating digital marketing materials and social media graphics.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and content planning.
  • Experience creating or editing short-form video content is a plus.
